Questions
What is your running background?
I have been running since I can remember, I just love it.
When did you first start running Ultra marathons and why?
Before moving to UK I used to just go out and run without keeping track of time and distance.
Then in UK I started to enter events and got addicted, it is great when you are surrounded by likeminded people.
When or where (at which events) are we most likely to see you?
Long event with a few starters and even less finishers. Although I like anything, from short fell to very long ultra.
What are your personal key running achievements to date?
All the times I went back and conquered a previous DNF.
What was your hardest race experience?
In my memory the first DNF, mile 96-ish of LL100.
What is your typical race strategy for an ultra?
To enjoy the run and the experience.
What does a typical training week look like?
Running a lot if I have time and exploring around when I’m travelling.
What one tip would you pass onto people running an Ultra marathon for the first time?
Don’t worry and be prepared. Go slow and enjoy it 🙂

Yes in 2018, I DNFed.
How did you get on?
DNF
What are you looking forward to at the Spartathlon race?
To finish what I started in 2018
How will you prepare specifically for the Spartathlon race?
With a lot of tarmac, I usually prefer to be off-road or on the fells.
Will you be bringing any support crew to the race? (If so, please introduce them briefly)
I did bring my dad in 2018 but with all that’s going on this year I’m going solo. He’ll come along the next time.
