What is your running background? Played a lot of squash but only started running about 6 years ago and found out that I really enjoy it.
When did you first start running Ultra marathons and why? I ran my first ultra in 2014. The way I look at it is I enjoy running so an ultra just gives me more to enjoy!
When or where (at which events) are we most likely to see you? Hardmoors events, Cockbain events, Enduroman
What are your personal key running achievements to date? The Spine Challenger 2015 (my first 100 mile + race and managed 6th place), UTMB 2015 (the hardest race I have ever entered), The Hill 2015 (very proud to have finished in 3rd place)
What was your hardest race experience? The UTMB
What events do you have planned for 2015 up to Spartathlon? Hardmoors 55, Viking Way Ultra, Thames Path 100, Enduroman Run To The Max, Coast 2 Coast, The TDS

What does a typical training week look like? I work shifts so don’t have a regular pattern to my running. I basically just fill my available time up the best I can with running. I usually get out for about 2 / 3 longer runs a week.
What one tip would you pass onto people running an Ultra marathon for the first time? Eat lots and smile
Can you tell us one interesting fact about yourself? I can wiggle my ears!
